Always reach for the stars

Ardoch was very excited to be one of the listed charity partners for this year’s Run Melbourne on Sunday, 28 July. With more than 20,000 runners heading past some of Melbourne’s most famous landmarks, this wasn’t your average run.

Run Melbourne helps support many wonderful charities and events such as this are always a great occasion to commit to a physical challenge and support Ardoch through fundraising. We are incredibly grateful to all our amazing supporters who get out their running gear, commit to training and connect with their family and friends to share their passion for Ardoch. These supporters make a big difference by raising vital funds for children and young people living in disadvantaged communities.

This year, our highest fundraiser was one of our very own Ardoch team members. Vasanthi Savundra, our Accounts Officer, truly displayed inspiring engagement and commitment to our cause and we are so very grateful for her amazing efforts. With the support of her friends and family, Vasanthi raised $6,675 dollars for Ardoch’s education programs.

Vasanthi says that the experience of Run Melbourne and her amazing fundraising efforts showed her to “ALWAYS reach for the stars. Together, with the support of family and friends, anything is possible and the impossible achievable”. A great reminder for us all.
